Welcome
This is my first attempt at creating my own website. Naturally it is a work in progress, but here you will find a selection of my published articles, a gallery of my photographs and a few words on whatever takes my fancy, under the recent thoughts tab. I hope you will find something that interests you...and if you do, please tell others to stop by. I am publishing a feature article above whenever I have something new.
Who Am I?
I am an accredited freelance journalist, with a passion for travel and an enjoyment of photography. My professional background is in marketing., however I am now the Editor of two property and lifestyle magazines and freelance for several others. I have lived in Australia, Japan, Korea, Dubai, Vietnam and London. I have just made my way back to Dubai to set up as a Marketing and Media Consultant. These factors all play in to my choice of topics and no doubt my writing style. Please note that none of my photos are taken on an SLR - the cameras range from snap happy cameras to my current Panasonic Lumix FZ35, although I have just bought a Sony A57 and now I need to learn how to use it.
